I don’t hate facebook. I don’t like it, and am more or less only on it because everyone else is so it is just easier that way. But what I am beginning to illustrate is not specific to facebook, it is just a great example. If these kinds of online experiences are all about connecting and sharing with people more intimately, letting them know who we really are….. is my job who I am? The Music or other things I like? Even my philosophy or religious views. I think many have exchanged true individuality and personhood for ease of connecting with a mass “audience”.
