Ben is Google-able!

If you forget the url to Ben’s site, you can now google “ben panter photographer” and it will be the first result! “Ben panter photography” will give you the site as the second result, and “ben panter art” as the fourth.

Many of the other links will be about Ben as well, though of course there are many other Ben Panters in the world, too. Some of the links that apply are: the Inquirer’s article, DonBrewerMultimedia’s blog about both my and Ben’s inclusion in Photo Op Op Op at the Hopkins House of Contemporary Art, Ben’s acceptance into the Center for Fine Art Photography’s ‘Low Tech’ exhibition, and our presentation at the Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity after being recipients of the Dean’s Undergraduate Research grants.

C4FAP Requests Ben’s Web Address; Now Updated

The Center for Fine Art Photography requested to have his website so that they could put it on their blog PERSPECTIVES, so we had to take his old website up a notch. No worries! Of course this blog will remain here, but his work, resume, and artist statement will be displayed here: at benpanter.moonfruit.com. If you’ve never had a chance to see the current body of work, I highly recommend going to the portfolio page.

If you want to make a website for yourself, I think moonfruit has a great WYSWYG editor with Flash components. Although I had to make sure to have the most recent version of Flash, because otherwise it would just not work correctly.

Upcoming Exhibition

If anyone is in Fort Collins, Colorado, during the month of October stop by The Center for Fine Art Photography and see Ben’s series of 4 pinhole photographs! They will be on display as a part of the exhibition, “Low-Tech”, which focuses on alternative photography work. (Alternative Photography encompasses non-mainstream photographic processes, i.e. no silver, no standard digital process.) I’ll post more information, including the online gallery, later.
